The CD
Each purchase includes:
Instructions and Technique Detailed instructions are included with download. The Tracks Each of the squared sine wave tracks include 4 seconds of white noise and 1 second of silence as a "volume alert." Remember to start with the volume OFF and turn up slowly.
A series of clips that contain multiple oscillating sine waves of different frequencies (20hz, 40hz, and 60hz). These are designed for various speakers and you can choose the one that works best with your sound system. Have large speakers with 12" woofers that can produce 20hz? Use the 20hz signal. Guaranteed to go through 6" walls and R17 insulation! The sound level on YOUR side of the wall remains low. Both sides will "feel" the sound as it vibrates walls, hanging pictures, glasses & dishes and THE NEIGHBOR. Have a more meager 6" monitor speaker? These are usually rated down to 70hz or so, but WILL reproduce lower frequencies with a drop in volume. Turn up your music recordings loud enough to blast a 40hz signal through the wall and you will be covering your ears as the higher frequency signals bounce around your living room. Our 40hz sine wave, on the other hand, will go straight through the wall at a low volume. Assuming your neighbor is just on the other side of an apartment wall, he will hear almost the same volume you do.
Electronically generated drum beats. This is a good choice for anyone that needs to be awake and live in the same room you while you are "avenging" the neighbor. One track is continuous while the other includes silence between beats. You can watch TV and your brain will partially filter out the incessant drone of large drums in the background. Yes, this holds true for your neighbor, but you already know it is easier to ignore your OWN noise than someone else's.
A 46 minute loop with plenty of silence. Yes, silence. What's worse than having your neighbor keep you up all night? One that wakes you up over and over. High impact sine wave attack for 6 seconds. Just enough to wake them up. Then 5 minutes of silence - the deception of peace. Than another rapid attack. What a pain. Now a nice 25 minute lull until the loop starts over again. Turn on repeat, put in the earplugs and go to bed. |
